White Rock Festival
Next weekend their is going to be lots to do in White Rock and I'll probably take a million pictures.
I've always wanted to enter a sandcastle competition so I might try that on Saturday although I don't have kids so I don't know if they will let me enter.
The Greek Festival is on Sunday near Cosmos so I definitely plan to eat my dinner there, lots of fun. I think I might even volunteer they supposively need 150 more volunteers so if anyone is interested in joining let me know!

My little brothers blog entry, it's hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!

MY TRIP TO SAN FRAN
SAN FRANCISCO 2005!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is my official blog entry for my trip. I've never done this before so don't be pissed if it sucks.
Our trip started at the peace arach boarder where we someone chose the slowest line. The boader guard seriosully took 5 MINUTES per car!! Jon and I were just thinking that the guy was going to send us in for inspection no matter what. Sure enough after asking us a few questions he sends us in for inspection. Once we get into the office, they ask us a whole bunch of stupid questions. "What do you do, where do you go to school, why you going to san francisco, why are you only going for 5 days, why are your parents in San Francisco" blah blah blah. Anyways the entire process took about 3o minutes, 30 minutes I'll never get back!!!
On the way down we saw a black Acura RSX with BC plates, full of chinese ppl, going pretty fast to Seattle. So we get behind him and follow him, follow the bunny! Anyways for almost the entire distance between Peace Arch and Seattle the Rsx and race down weaving in and out of traffic going about 155-165. It was pretty sweet.
We arrived for our flight 1 hour early, at least that’s what we thought. It turns out our flight was 1 hour delayed so they try to put us on an earlier Oakland flight. There were 3 ladies and they were all looking for coach seats for us. BUT THEY FORGOT WHO THEY WERE TALKING TOO. So we set them straight and tell them we were first class and their like, “no way.” We’re like, “uhh yeah!”. Haha it was funny. So then we just decided to wait for our light in the first class lounge. This lounge was so dope, 2 stories right on the tarmac with huge windows overlooking the run way. It was furnished like the lobby of a fancy hotel and best off all had free food, pop, and best of all, ALCHOLE!!! When we first walked in to check in the front desk the lady started to tell us all the rules but before she did she was like, “I’m sure you guy’s have heard this a million times” (implying that we had flown first class a million time). We chilled out there for a while, had some free drinks then made our way to our flight.
Once on the plane, the first class stewert knew exactly what our plan was. “Should I just give you all the shots now, or do you want them one by one?” he said to us. The middle of the flight, I was SOOO GONEE, it was great! By the time we came in to land, I couldn’t walk or talk and I was ummm… very “air sick” so I threw up everywhere. As jon was carrying me off the plane the Stewart apologized for promoting our drinking rampage.

Work Hard Play Hard
Were did they come up with this. After playing hard last weekend I had the urge to work hard this week. Now the urge to play is coming back again, of coarse I'm working this weekend too so now that's not going to happen. I guess I'll save it up for the next weekend. This week has been a lot, I'm tired of problem solving. Dates dates dates why does everyone always want to move the dates. Prices, everyone has their own idea of what's right and it's very subjective. So the fun is trying find enough evidence to turn subjective into objective. I won't get into examples. Oh and for the record analytical non-emotional decision makers are fantastic to work with.

Isn't This Rad

For some reason I think as a kid Jon and I must have talked about how cool it would have been to have a tunnel that went from one side of the boarder to the next. I don't really remember much more than that but their is definitely something highly fascinating about tunnels especially when they are connected by two houses on either side of the boarder. I reminds me of Gooneys or something.
What would you pay to go be able to go through that tunnel just once???
The life of a Big Shot Realtor
My Mom is gone and I'm doing my best to fill her shoes. So far this week, since Monday, I've dealt with 4 offers and I might be writing another one for my own client. As well, I might have another one coming in on my own listing. I'm becoming extremely comfortable with all the details but let me tell you, it's a stressful job!
It's not so stressful because of the actual act of writing and presenting the offer, it's the stress of remembering everything. You have to be so careful that everything is perfect, one mistake and you're paying for someones washer/dryer or much worse. I've seen my Mom stress out over the years and at times like this I know why. I'm lucky though, I think I handle stress pretty well and usually I just stop eating and lose a few pounds if it's really intense. (Not so bad...)
I'm really lucky to have the opportunity to take over my Mom's buisness while she's away. It's amazing that she actually 90% trusts me now, it only took 3 yrs! I think this has been the biggest challenge for me, to actually get a compliment out of my Mom because believe me when it comes to real estate, it's like getting blood out of a rock! So thanks Mom, I guess I better go to your house and water your plants since you're away. :)

Back Home
The vacation was great but I'm very glad to be home.
I must say that having a bath last night with Emson Salts was a huge highlight and my pores are slowly shedding the dust the've taken in. My feet are slowly returning from dusty dark to pink and clean. The huge blisters the size of toonies on the back of my heels are starting to settle down too, that's all I ever got from those darn cow boy boots....
Although I left Merrit early, I just couldn't take the chaios anymore, I do miss it. I think it's very lame that for 2 days it was cloudy and cold and the day I leave the sun breaks and now today on Sunday it's extremely hot and sunny, not fair!!! Girls I hope your last day in Merrit is great.
I was wondering if I'd ever go back to Merrit, at first I'd say no, I've been there done it, but who knows after an entire year I might think it's fun again. One thing for sure is that having an RV is a saving grace, it's like having a box filled with pillows amongst all the dirt and rocks, it was so nice.
Anyways ladies I'm glad we were all together in Merrit, even if being with 6 girls all at the same time means one giant conversation that never rests. I was remind of what it would be like if I grew up with a house full of sisters instead of brothers. :)
Merrit rocked I had a great time, and I hope you all did too.
