Match Point

Well Shayna and I wanted to see a movie that wasn't exactly funny and light hearted and that's exactly what I got with Match Point tonight. It's one of the darkest movies I've seen in a long time. The movie ends of coarse how you won't expect but the whole point of the movie is luck. They make the argument that it's better in life to be lucky than good, the whole movie hinges on luck. Honestly I didn't enjoy watching it because it made me feel like luck is more important than choices in life. Maybe they're right but it just makes everything seem so random and not meaningful, and it steals away hope. :(
